Distance Learning

Dear Parents/ Guardians:

We have had a few requests regarding distance education opportunities for our students instead of in-seat learning.  If you would like your child to do distance education, you will need to contact your building principal to set up a time to talk with them about this option.  For Elementary students, we will be utilizing the Launch program.  Students will need access to a computer, internet, and be available to be "in class" virtually from 9-3 daily.  Attached is a copy of what a typical day will look like for elementary students.  These classes will be taught by a virtual teacher not employed by the district.

Middle school or high school students who wish to participate in distance education will do so through Zoom or Google Meets.  Students must video conference in to every class on their schedule throughout the day.  Students will have access to a Chromebook through the school, but must have access to the internet as well as the ability to be "in class" virtually from 7:45-3:45.

Again, if you have questions or would like to set up an appointment to talk about these options, please contact your building level principals.
