We will start school on Tuesday August 22 , 2023, and it appears the first partial week of school will be VERY, VERY HOT with heat indexes over 100 degrees.
Please prepare your child, especially if they are riding a bus:
1)Send them with a water bottle - plastic or metal with a lid is best; please no glass.
2) Dress them in light-colored, summer-weight clothing; shorts, T-shirts, and well-fitting sandals (not flip-flops) are fine.
Our longest routes may be up to 45 minutes; water bottles and clothing adjustments will definitely help. We will adjust our campus activities accordingly in hopes of mitigating the heat.
