Osage County R-2 Schools bus 28 is running about 10 minutes late this morning.
Osage R2 Bus 32 is running late.
Due to deteriorating road conditions. Osage County R-2 Schools will dismiss at 10:15 am today, Friday, Feb 16.

Today's Womens Basketball matchup against the Steelville Cardinals has been postponed due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. We are working with the Steelville Athletic Department to find an alternative date for rescheduling. More information will be released when available.
Due to frigid weather and hazardous conditions, Linn R-2 schools will not be in session tomorrow 1/16. Thank you and stay warm Wildcats!
Linn R-II will be released at 11:30 am, 1/12 due to inclement weather and potentially hazardous driving conditions; students will have an opportunity to eat lunch prior to leaving. Stay safe, warm, and GO WILDCATS!

Good afternoon,
Thank you so much for your patience as we try our very best to respond to Missouri's ever-changing weather! Of course, we will have another round overnight with rain/snow and plummeting temperatures right in the middle of our day..... I am working with our transportation provider (Joe Nuener- Rudroff) and other area superintendent to evaluate driving conditions; unfortunately, I am not the only one with a broken crystal ball :( (If someone is interested in a business venture, crystal ball repair might be an untapped market in our area:)).
As usual, I will be checking in on the forecast and the group around 8 pm; I will let you know then if I feel confident. Most likely, I will need to reevaluate in the morning; we typically begin conversations at 4 am and try our best to make a decision by 5 am. Please be prepared for all possibilities: full snow day or an early dismissal. I hope the information helps you plan. As always, I am trying my best to balance the need to continue learning and safety as a priority.

Linn R-II schools will be in session today, 1/10 for our regularly schedule classes; busses will run normal routes unless you receive a call otherwise. If you are driving, please exercise caution, give yourself additional time, and be aware of other drivers.
